Our Philosophy
We believe that a pre-school, in order to promote the feeling and development of a positive self-image in a child, should provide a safe environment, loving and concerned personnel, and stimulating experiences to help a child grow physically, cognitively, emotionally, and creatively according to one's individual needs and stage of development.
The atmosphere here is one of love and acceptance, informality and relaxation with an appropriate balance of structure and self-initiated activities to meet the needs of your child.
What pre-school is to the child...
Pre-school is ORDER, but not conformity... Expression for INTERESTS but not a lack of discipline that results in random activity... It is FEELINGS, SHARING, LEARNING.
Pre-school is "home away from home" to the little child where to try is the important aim and to fall is merely an incentive to try again, with no sense of lasting failure.
Pre-school is experience... wonder... challenge... accomplishment. It's time to be and to feel and to know. It is the spirit of love and acceptance, discipline and daring, question and answer. It is a time for order as well as flights of the imagination and a time for small attempts and step-by-step achievements. It is a time for finding friendship and giving it. |
